Project Management of
Contract and Procurement Management
Contractsw, Risks and Legal Issues in Projects
Suppliers or sub-contractors do substantial portions of projects. The
success or failure of a project is dependent on how well project managers
plan, execute and control the external relationships that involves
procurement and is established by contracting. Organiztions enter into
various forms of contractural arrangements to implement the scope of
supply or sub-contract, from fixed price to cost-type.
The focus of this course is on the effective management of that part
of the project that is performed by another organizational entity.
Participants will learn tools and techniques for effective project
management, and how these apply to procurement activities and contractual
arrangements.
