Mr. Yee Kok Leong is the Principal Consultant and Regional Director at Business Management Consultants (BMC). Kok Leong is an award winning project manager with more than 16 years experience across IT, banking and telecommunication industries in Asia Pacific. He has held regional director positions and managed businesses in excess of USD50M in annuity and a recipient of the highest awards in Service Management from world-class MNC companies.

With an extensive track record success demonstrated both in project and service management, Kok Leong’s expertise centers around achieving real business benefits by applying effective project management methodologies and best practices resulting in improvements in project success rates, customer satisfaction and operational stability. He has managed complex projects across various boundaries including start-up projects in Vietnam, IT project delivery in Australia and Singapore, services transition in Malaysia and was often engaged to lead project and service recovery teams.

Kok Leong has an excellent understanding of regional sensitivities and knows what it takes to deliver successful projects. In addition, he strongly believes a smooth transition from project to operations builds trust with the customer and ensures sustainability and scalability in operations delivery and future revenue growth for his clients. He draws from ‘ground up’ experiences and insights gained from many years of experience and advocates strongly that a good project manager is a package of project management methodology, leadership, financial and communication skills.

Kok Leong holds a Computer Science degree from the National University of Singapore and a Master Degree in Project Management from Adelaide University. He is a certified PMP® (Project Management Professional) with the Project Management Institute.
