Deena Gordon Parla, PMP is BMC’s Digital Director and a Principal Consultant in the Southern Europe, Middle East, Africa Division. Deena brings more than 20 years of Management and IT consulting and training experience for commercial, governmental and not-for-profit organizations in the U.S. and EMEA region. She has led complex projects ranging from strategy through implementation.
 

Deena established an organizational partnership between the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a leading, multi-billion dollar not-for-profit organization to more rapidly progress its project management maturity. As an industry liaison for Project and Program Management, she facilitated implementation of the internal organizational and process changes required to support the transition to a PM culture.
 

As a Senior Associate at Booz Allen & Hamilton (BAH), Deena developed business with BAH ’s (now Booze & Company) CXO level clientele to transform e-business strategies into e-solutions that deliver operational savings, increased market share, and new product offerings. She provided e-solution delivery expertise to BAH e-strategy teams driving vision, crafting business cases, and building new organizations for launching new B2B and B2C e-marketplaces.
 

Deena has established the European office for a large U.S. consulting firm. Responsibilities included leading implementation of European-based recruiting program and integration of new European office into U.S. operations using collaborative, web-based tools to manage projects & resources across the “virtual” organization.
 

Deena is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a senior volunteer leader for several global, organizational change projects for PMI, and a graduate of PMI’s invitation-only Leadership Masters Class.
