Nicos is an Associate Consultant of Business Management Consultants in Europe. He is based in Athens, Greece, and specializes in project management training and consulting with emphasis in Project Portfolio Management and Organizational Project Management Maturity.

Formally he has worked in the IT sector in Canada and Greece both in large corporations (www.mda.ca) and with smaller ventures and start-ups. Working as a Project Management & Strategy Consultant in Athens, Nicos has been responsible for managing international projects with clients such as the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living & Working Conditions, the European Network & Information Security Agency (ENISA), the European Agency  for Fundamental Rights (FRA), the Hellenic American Union, and the Greek Ombudsman. Working as a Product Manager Consultant with EWORX SA, Nicos also managed the successful development and launch of an innovative web-based Project & Portfolio Management Software application (ProJX), which is currently used by several Greek and EU based organizations.

Nicos is also an Adjunct Professor at the Professional MBA program of the Hellenic American University in Athens, Greece, where he teaches courses such as Project Management, Portfolio Management, and Value Chain Management. He is also involved with PMI’s local chapter in Athens, where as an elected member of the Board of Directors he serves as the Vice President for Specific Interest Groups.

Nicos holds an MBA from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, a MASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria, Canada, and a B.Sc. in Physics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Nicos is also a PMI Certified OPM3 Assessor & Consultant, a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and an IPMA Certified Project Manager Level-D.
