Lu, Kee Hong is a seasoned training and business consulting professional (performance consulting) with more than 20 years of working experiences in world class companies all over Asia Pacific regions.

He started with Price Waterhouse Singapore (now known as PriceWaterhouseCooper Singapore) as auditor in the early ‘80s and moved on to Texas Instruments Singapore as the Divisional Accountant for 3 1/2 years before embarking on a 10 3/4 years career with Motorola Singapore in late 1987.

In Motorola, he served the South East Asia (SEA) Semiconductor Products Division (SPD) as the Accounting and Administration Manager initially and progressed to the role of Marketing Controller for SEA and Australia/New Zealand before relocating to Beijing, China, in January 1994 as the Distribution Controller for Greater China Paging Subscribers Division (GCPSD). During his SEA SPD days, he worked in Taipei (2 months) and Hong Kong (10 months) at the Asia Pacific Headquarters as Product Group Analyst. After his return to Singapore in mid-1995 from Beijing, China, he left the Finance field and took on the challenge of re-organizing the Sales Operations team supporting GCPSD and Asia Pacific Paging Subscribers Division (APPSD). In this role, he was involved with Business Process Re-engineering as well as being the pioneer leadership team in bringing Motorola’s famed quality methodology of Total Customers Satisfaction to paging operators in Jakarta, Indonesia, and Manila, the Philippines.

In January 1998, he returned to GCPSD as the Senior Manager for Customers Training and Development where he co-designed the Cash and Inventory Management Program with 2 Professors from Beijing University and Motorola University for the management team of Chinese Paging Operators. During this period, he also served as the Dean of the '5-Star Customers Academy'. He delivered speeches on Service Quality Improvement to the China Quality Control Association at their seminars in Beijing and Zhangjiajie in 1998 too. In end of September 1998, he left Motorola and founded Integrated Performance Associates (iPA), a sole proprietorship training and business consulting organization.

In iPA, he consulted for Seagram Asia Pacific on business process re-engineering projects in Singapore and Hong Kong; established a Free Trade Zone Trading Company in Shanghai, WaiGaoQiao; performed a Retail Audit in Thailand; and conducted a feasibility study of bottling products in Tianjin and Shanghai joint ventures besides contributing in the 3-Year strategic plan process. He has also consulted for Asia.com, a wireless and wired solution provider in the dotcom’s boom days! In early 2000, he helped set up the start-up of Softbank Emerging Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur as well as performing the role of Investment Analyst screening potential investees to invest in.

In end of October 2002, Kee Hong moved to Shanghai and consulted as the VP/Finance and Human Resources, CFO, for an American fabless integrated circuits design company. As part of his contract, he continues to perform his training and development consulting work for other clients. He is an active volunteer at Junior Achievement (JA) China in Shanghai. On 26 October 2003, he presented at Fudan University XiangHuiTan at a joint JA China and Shanghai American Chamber of Commerce event on 'The 7e Way of the Leaders © – Leading Yourself and Others".

Besides these business consulting projects, Kee Hong is the Master Trainer for Motorola University (now known as LLP) on 2 managerial development programs in Asia Pacific, and has delivered these programs in Singapore, Penang (Malaysia), Hong Kong, Beijing, and Nanjing with great effect since 1999. In addition, he has taught ‘Train-the-Trainers’ program at the Singapore Institute of Management on Customer Service Excellence for other associated training organizations. His other programs are: Creative Problems Solving, Effective Communication, Leadership, etc. In 2003, he became a certified master trainer for Napolean Hill World Learning Center, Indiana, USA, for the '17 Principles of Success' program.

Kee Hong is a Fellow Certified Public Accountant (FCPA) of Singapore and a Chartered Accountant (CA) of New Zealand since mid-‘80s. He has a Master of Arts degree in Marketing Management besides a Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Accountancy and Information System. He is effectively bilingual in English and Chinese besides knowing many dialects like Cantonese and Hokkien.
